Review: I had an electric start installed plus had a an overhead DVD replaced and a second screen added about a year and a half ago. The installation is under warranty as long as I have the vehicle. However, every since the install of the starter I've had a problem with my battery dying after not being driven for 2 or more days. I have called to speak with [redacted] about this situation and he keeps telling me it has nothing to do with the install. He keeps telling me it's the door pin. I've had that checked and that is not the issue and he is refusing to understand that is not the issue I've had that checked. He wants to charge me a $100 to have them check my car for the problem. Recently my car sat my battery died and now my starter doesn't work at all. I have called and again he says 9 chances out of 10 it's the door pin. Yes, over the course of time my car has been up in their shop 4-5 different times for the starter and the sound issue (which I'm going to get into next) for my DVD system.
Now, for the DVD system... I am not having an issue with the unit it's self. I'm having an issue with the sound. We can not get a clear station to play the movie. As long as you use headphones you can hear, but for it run through the radio you can not hear the movie. I've had it lolled at but still it's not right.
I just want these issues fixed and be done with this company Or refunded my money.Desired Settlement: I would like my stuff fixed properly with no charge or my money refunded. The automatic start if it's going to be an issue can come off and be refunded, although I'd like to keep it. However, the DVD system will have to be fixed because I no longer have the old one to replace the new one. It would be nice for some kind of compensation as I have to travel 45 minutes one way each time I have to come back due to their lack of knowledge.

Response:
Dear Representative
in reference to Case ID# [redacted], thank you for the opportunity to resolve this matter.
For 32 years, we have prided ourselves on perfect installation of the equipment we sell, in this case, I am very happy to warranty our work, as well as our equipment.
I request a dated receipt of the job performed at our facility.
To that end, the problem described is very specific; it is the definition of a low amperage current draw, which is very common in these GM vehicles, and is typically not related to any Remote Start or DVD player.
If I am expected to warranty my work, I will happily do so. if the expectation is to remedy an unrelated, low amperage current draw, committing my staff and time at no charge, that seems unfair.
we solve this type problem in this type vehicle quite often, and I am confident we can help this customer.
As ever, I look forward to working within the confines of fairness, both with you and our customer.
