Winchester Bay Inn

Called to book a room for my husband who was going to attend an event in 2 weeks in Winchester Bay. This motel is typically open and can pull in day of and easily get a room. When I called at 4:04pm on 7/15/17, the lady shared that all she had available was a suite and a 2 bedroom available. Knowing that he was only staying 2 nights we could just pay extra for a larger space as it's the most convenient location. She then went on to tell me that I would be calling back tomorrow to cancel. When I questioned her, she said "you don't have the money to pay $140 a night for one person!". With it being two rooms, my thought is that his friend could cancel his single room and they could share the 2 room. She continued to tell me that I couldn't afford the room and after saying that 2-3 times told me she was booked up. She was looking at the wrong page. When I called her out on just confirming the days and that all that was available was a suite and 2 bedroom the story changed. She then screamed something unclear and hung up the phone. I called back 2-3 times to speak to the manager or owner and it went to voicemail the first time then the phone was disconnected. Left a voicemail for a call back for resolution.
