I was having issues with water backing up in my home. I contacted roto rooter and they came to my house after trying to unclog my sewer lateral but were hitting clay and said they couldn`t do anything and I had to call a plumber. I called a second company and they came out were hitting clay as well out in the sewer line by the road. They were able to jet it out but said its most likely a collapsed pipe and that it would need to be replaced since it is an old clay pipe but that I would have to call a construction company. I called the construction company and they came out and were already half way through the construction and noticed the reason I was having issues was because my sewer lateral was drilled through. They found out it was by a company call WIN Technology out of Eau Claire I believe. They contacted the company and brought someone out here to look at the damage that was caused but since the construction company was half way through they had to replace my whole sewer line. Now, the person I have been working with from WIN Technology named Ken is saying he should not be responsible for paying for the construction since they could have just fixed the part that was drilled through and not replaced the whole thing. Like I said we were not aware it was drilled through until they were already half way through the construction. I am looking for help to have the company that drilled take responsibility for the damage they caused.
