I have not been able to get the owner to submit the final invoice for the replacement of my roof to the insurance company. I have made multiple requests and confirmed multiple times with the insurance company if it has been received.
The work on the roof began on May 12th. In a telephone conversation, I was advised by ***, that she was filing the final invoice with the insurance company. After waiting approximately 3 weeks, I followed up with Farmers Insurance to confirm if they had received the invoice and when they would be processing the final check. I was advised by Farmers it was not received. On June 18th, I informed *** the insurance company advised they did not have it. She confirmed she would resend. I provided her the email address of adjuster working my claim. I followed up with the insurance company on June 22nd. They still had not received it and I sent a text to *** requesting she resend. She confirmed she would. On June 25th, I followed up with Farmers and they still did not have it. Again, I reached out to *** with Wilson's Home Restoration Services to advise her it was still not received and requested she send it. Again, she confirmed by text message she would resend. On June 26th, we had another text exchange requesting the final invoice to be sent. This time I did request that the invoice be sent to my email for follow up with the insurance company. Again, was advised she would send it. My final request was made on July 3rd to request the final invoice. Two additional weeks have past and the invoice has not been received.
I would very much like to close the claim with Farmers in order to change insurance company. As a result of this final invoice not being provided / submitted I have had to pay higher insurance rates.
In response to Mrs.’s complaint, we are writing to confirm that, as we assured the customer, final invoice has been submitted to the insurance company on more than one occasion. We rely on our CRM system to generate these invoices when jobs are complete and send them directly to the adjuster or insurance company portal that we are instructed to, attaching each claim number for identification. In this case, we can not speak to why the insurance company is not reflecting receipt of such a common practice as final billing, but we sincerely apologize for whatever has happened to prevent that. We will be speaking with JobNimbus, our CRM service to try and identify any possible issue. In the mean time, a pdf file will be sent, outside of JobNimbus, to ***@farmersinsurance.com and Mrs. directly. It is our hope that this resolves the issue and very much appreciate the *** family’s business!
Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID. I personally did not receive the email with the final invoice as the business suggested I would. However, I was able to confirm the insurance company did received it and they were able to provide me a copy. Therefore, my issue is resolved as I now have the final invoice.
Thank you for your assistance.
Sincerely
