customer did indeed return to our facility asking about his carburetor (why his vehicle did not start) and we told him he was more than welcome to return the carburetor for us to inspect again, but most likely, it was other issuesWe explained to him that his vehicle not starting can be caused by a number of issuesWe have built carburetors for plus years and have seen many issues, due to old gasoline (vehicles sitting for some lengthy time)We mentioned we would take a second look at no charge, but if the carburetor were full of debris (as it was when it came in originally) then we would charge $90/hr He acted as if everything was fine and he would bring the carburetor in for inspectionWe did not see or hear from him until he called our facility insulting usWe do not SCREW PEOPLE as the customer said to meWe have been in business for a very long time and give excellent serviceWe strive for repeat business, but he kept harping about Discount Brake & MufflerFirst off, this is not a specialist in carburetion (it is a brake and muffler shop)They would not know what to look for regardlessWe explained that to him, but he would not listen We cannot help this customer any further than what we didWe asked him to return the carburetor for us to look at free of charge, unless it was full of debris, then we do charge additionalDebris is not a warranted issue; it is a lack of maintenance issue of the vehicleHe did not do that and took it upon himself to take it to another shop that is not qualified for these types of repair We do appreciate your feedback, but will not offer any settlement to this customerThank you Sincerely, *** *** * *** *** *** Break-Thru Performance
