Williams Investigations

Review: Williams investigations emptied my bank account to collect on a debt that is beyond the statute of limitations. I am below poverty level income and have not had a phone in years. Could not pay if I wanted. This is tantamount to sanctioned theft. Not sure what they did was legal due to age of debt. Can't afford a lawyer or fees to file bankrupt.Desired Settlement: I want my funds returned and punitive damages levied. They should not be allowed to prey on the poor.

I have had an exceptionally frustrating time dealing with this company. I was double charged, in fairness, they did eventually refund me. I contacted them several times about various things. When I WAS able to get in touch with someone I was told someone would get back to me. I left several messages. No one ever called me back. One of their employees claimed in an email that no messages were received. The last time I contacted the company about some undisclosed fees I was actually yelled at by one of their representatives, who then hung up me. She implied that it did not matter that the fees were not disclosed to me because I was not personally responsible for the fees (although I was directly charged for them). When I tried calling back no one would answer. Undisclosed fees are not fair business practice, regardless of who is affected. Neither is refusing to follow up on customer's inquiries. Yelling at customers and hanging up on them is poor service regardless of what is going on.
