William Foster Carpet Cleaning

William Foster Carpet Cleaning advertised that they cleaned carpet and upholstery. I contacted them and orally contracted for their cleaning of a sofa, purchased in August 2004 for $6517. In November 2019, Foster came to my home to clean the sofa. As Foster was finishing cleaning the sofa, I observed that the cleaning process he was using was staining the sofa. I directed him to stop cleaning. He convinced me that he could remove the stains which resulted from the cleaning process. Foster and his assistant then attempted to remedy the damage but was unsuccessful. I paid him $120. as previously agreed. I subsequently called Foster and explained the sofa was not presentable and badly damaged. He volunteered to return and attempt cleaning one pillow as an experiment. I made an appointment for his return but he failed to show. I have repeatedly called Foster requesting payment for his damage to the sofa. He offered to send me a payment within forty-eight hours, which he failed to do.

I have had the sofa reupholstered at a cost of $5390. v
