There are two parts to my complaint First is the charges for a minibar we never touched The second is the advertisement It is fraud, in my opinion The hotel has denied the description of the room, which caused to us to book with them The attached document, [redacted] shows the descriptionthe second attachment is the entire webpage saved It is worth noting that as of today, they are still showing the exact same description. The Revdex.com clarification request states that you do not handle compensation requests This is a serious matter There are charges, which we did not incur The room was booked based on the description The first issue is a more straightforward issue, and simply requires a refund of those charges The second is more serious We would not have booked with the Willard without that description We were trying to decide between several high end hotels on the [redacted] and decided on the Willard solely for that reason I would like the hotel to the right thing We did not get the room as described I do not understand how this is legal or ethical
Thank you taking the time to listen to the details of the complaint and my follow upI have written back to the guest on the 6th December but did not receive a responseIn the meantime, I have gone ahead and refunded the 1st night stay, the minibar charge and as a gesture the Round Robin bar chargeThe total came up to $which will reflect on her credit card statement. The website description for that particular room type has been updated. If there is anything I can assistant with further, please do not hesitate to contact me directly. Best Regards Simon Ch***Hotel Manager
