Review: My daughter, [redacted], was renting a townhouse from the above agancy via [redacted] from August 2012 until December 2012. During this time I authorized partial payments to be taken to from card to assist my duaghter during some finaincal diffciulties. It is my understanding that there was a remianing electric bill when she moved. I, [redacted], had NOTHING to do with the electric bill and I was no longer in a position to assist her with this bill. I made it clear to [redacted] and we have e-0mail corresponce that documents I DID NOT AUTHORIZE any addtional payments to my card. Today, nearly 4 month later, I have a charge of $485.53 in my [redacted] account. This has overdrafted my account and leaves me open to addiotnal fees as I have checks out for money that has been taken without permission.
I personally never signed a lease with the company, never received any bills or documentation and I absolutley to dio authorize a charge to my bank account.
This company has NO RIGHT what so ever to hold me rrsponsible for bills my daughter incurred while renting from themDesired Settlement: I want my money refunded to my account immediately and any additional fees incurred as a result of the money being pulled.
Review: On July 22nd of 2013 I purchased my home at [redacted],PA. Wilkins and Associates was both the listing and selling real estate agent. A few months after moving in we noticed that the pier lights in front of the house and the electric connections to the back of the house and pool area were not functioning. We called the home inspector back to the house and he agreed that he missed these problems and agreed to refund his service fee in the amount of $450. We reviewed the disclosure statement furnished by the listing agent and noticed that the only question not answered was are there any electric problems. Due to health reasons we have delayed action until now. After speaking to a real estate attorney we found that according to state law, the listing agent was responsible to insure that all questions on the disclosure statement were answered and should be held liable. I sent them a letter asking for the balance of the repairs, $1763.76, and did not receive an answer. I am asking your help in getting this issue resolved.Desired Settlement: To have Wilkins and Associates pay for the repairs.
