We removed the old driveway and had a concrete company replace the concreteNo warranty was expressed or implied at the time of the estimateThere is a hairline surface crack that developed quickly after the pour which resulted in the complaint, however it is not structural, only cosmetic and
within industry standards for the practiceI reached out to the manufacturer and the contractor, as well as several other concrete contractors about replacing or repairing and they all said it would most likely happen again and that concrete cracksThe driveway is in good condition and functions properlyThe grading before the pour was done properly and a large quantity of steel was used in the concrete for structural support

I am rejecting this response because:I cannot believe that industry standards allow for cracks on the day of the pour. We have no way to judge if the grading and structural support were done correctlyWe can, however, judge the appearance of the finished product, and we do not consider it acceptable for a driveway that cost $9106. We are asking what is going to be done about the cracks that appeared the day of the pour. The contractors we have talked to have all said the same thing- the concrete did not have enough water in it. In fact, one of the workers finishing the concrete showed my wife a crack and said there was not enough water in the concreteWe have cracks in of the areas done.Regarding the comment that "no warranty was expressed or implied at the time of the estimate," we have an email dated October 4, where MrW*** said, "I have a guy looking at sealing the cracks and doing a wash to make them go away. If that doesn't fix it then we will replace." That was the last time we heard from him, despite our numerous inquiries as to the status. We also have an email from Sept27, saying that he will come up with a solution, which could be tearing out and replacing. We mistakenly believed MrWickman when he said he would resolve the problem, We would have held back some of the payment if we hadn't trusted that he would make it right
Sincerely,

We havent been able to find a sollution for the crack that wont make it look worseThere is no way of knowing that the concrete wont crack again after major financial burden to the companyTherefore, we suggest leaving it be as it hasent grown or heaved up in any way
Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: The cracks have grownMore importantly, the business owner has told us that he would "make it right"He has also written us in an e mail that he would replace the driveway. The business has $of our moneyIs the business going to replace the driveway or give us back our money?
Sincerely,
