The dealership told me my car wasn't worth anything. It was an antique given to me by my grandparents after their death. They agreed to pay for the tow. They then turned around and sold the car for a lot of money, as any antique car with less than 50,000 miles and no rust etc would be.
It was my dead grandfather car, who was a world war 2 hero, who died from cancer.
Why would u tell me my car isn't worth anything then turn around and sell it for so much. That's FRAUD. All I want is his car back. You then financed a used Celica for me for 7,000$ this doesn't make sense why u would do something like this. Honestly. It's called fraud. I feel like u stold this car from me.
I I want my grandfathers car back.

I have no way to help Ms *** recover her grandfathers car. I believe her when she states she traded it in here but I cannot verify that as we have no transaction records from 25 years ago which as I understand, is when this all took place per Ms ***. I have no records of where the car was sold or for how much and I am unable to find out the cars current whereabouts if it still exists. I would like to help as it seems to be very important to *** however I don't know what to do to help her.

Your transfer of the cars title at sale.
The title department has it.
Your computer allows you to check that information online.
Both titles include the dollar amount the car traded for.
I understand the condition or value of the car isn't expected to be the same.
At the time it only had 40,000 miles on it and not a lick of rust.
But it was my grandfather's car.
It can't be replaced

we examined this customers vehicle and found no dtc'c were set which should be the case if their is a slipping issue or a hesitation. test drove several times and downloaded a "snapshot" from the ecm to Honda engineers through techline and was advised vehicle was operating within parameters consistent with this vehicle ie the transmission pressure drops when vehicle is allowed to sit and cool as with any fluid drive trans. Cust was advised to allow 5-10 seconds before engaging trans or ignore the concern. I understand what he doesn't like about it however I have no correction for it and Honda considers it a normal characteristic of the vehicle and comparing to like vehicle as well as other makes and models I believe they are right. I never like to disappoint a customer but my hands are tied here.
