to find one that clean anywhere else. She decided the next day that she would like to finance the vehicle with $1200 down and trade-in a vehicle in which we gave her $500 for. The trade-in vehicle was a 1999 [redacted] with over 200,000 miles on it. She filled out a credit application, and we were able to finance her based on the information that she provided on the application. Our bank requires the customer to provide proof of income. [redacted] provided us with her two most recent paystubs. Our bank also calls the customers employer to verify that they work there. [redacted] stated on the credit application that she is currently employed, but unfortunately she was no longer working as of February 18, 2016. She was not truthful about employment on the credit application. The bank considers this fraud. On page four of the retail installment contract that was signed by [redacted] it states that, "we may require you to pay us immediately, the remaining balance of the amount financed, finance charges and all other agreed charges if you do any of the following: 6.) You intentionally provide fraudulent and misleading information on a credit application". We gave [redacted] almost two weeks to come up with the funds, and unfortunately she could not.
