I am responding to a complaint filed by [redacted]. She recently came in and filled out an application to rent a one bedroom unit. Upon showing her this unit I informed her the process following filling out an application which is as follows. 1. $45.00 application fee (non refundable)...
stated on the application.2. $250.00 deposit upon approval (non refundable) stated on the application3. Remaining money is due when the lease is signed and remaining deposit and first month rent and lock and key fee. [redacted] was informed upon meeting with me of this process and signed an application stating the same. I am a leasing agent/assistant NOT the property manager, when asked how long the unit can be held for I stated 30 days, she was inquiring if she needed more time to come up with the money how would that work. I stated I would have to speak to the property manager who was not in at the time. Never in our conversation did I state I was the property manager.
