Review: I paid [redacted] 2530.00 for him to have 1/2 down so he could buy supplies to tear off my roofs on my house and garage and clean up the site to my ok. The money [redacted] had no problem taking from me on 7/31/2012 was from my insurance company, which was held in escrow until I sent a letter to [redacted] at [redacted]. In the letter I asked the funds to be released to Weston Construction. [redacted] told me he was about 1 1/2 weeks out,so he would call me, when he was ready to do my roof. I started calling him in early Aug when he had not contacted me. [redacted]'s 1st excuse was 3 guys were doing drugs on the site so he had fire them, and now was a crew short. I did tell [redacted] when we signed the contract and several times more, that no one was getting on my roof without proof of insurance. Never said a word about not having insurance or that he was from Helena and I live in [redacted] MT. I had watched him put siding and roof on neighbor's house. 2nd excuse was he had a $40,000.00 job to do first, then he would do my roofs. [redacted] never called me, I always called him.3rd excuse was he fell off the roof on a jobsite and hit his head and was in the hospital. Then there was the 4th excuse, he fell off a roof again and when he fell he caught his hand on the gutter and did damage to his nerves. Then in Jan [redacted] calls me and said he would do my roof now and would even be cheaper. I called my neighbor [redacted] the other roof he had done and learned that [redacted] never finished his job, an also took him for money and no work. I called his house and his Mom named [redacted] said he was not there. I told [redacted] to write down 3 things and give the information to [redacted]. I said I want the name of his insurance company, a receipt for the supplies he said he bought and my money back. I got 1 call from [redacted] and that was the 1st of Aug 20,2013. He came early on a Fri morning and was stacking this little pile of supplies, beside my fence. I am disabled and try to live on [redacted].Trying to come up with 2500.00 again to pay hurt meDesired Settlement: I really feel he should pay me the full amount he stole from me 2530.00 for the pain and BS I was put through. If not possible I want my receipt for the supplies and the rest of the money. I had to pay a very honest contractor the $2500.00 [redacted] stole from me.
