Went to the auction last Sunday and bought a beautiful diamond ring with a GIA certification. I'm very happy with my purchase. I've often found that retailers are way overpriced so bidding on my own terms was not only fun but got me a good deal. They also have art and bronzes. Perhaps next time.
Traveling auction Westfield LTD Auctions, formerly Windsor Auction House, is holding an auction at Rock Creek Country Club Saturday, September 19th. Items are NOT what they appear and provenance may be fake. Appraisals are 10x retail and certifications can not be validated. They admit to using "house bidders" to bid up items, and will withhold items they didn't intend to sell such as "featured items". Read any terms before signing and do NOT provide drivers license to register. Because they are out of state, filing a court claim and/or returning items as required by bank for disputed charges is next to impossible. Have a jeweler or antiquities appraiser inspect everything prior to bidding.
