This was the worst experience I have ever ever had What I had requested for and what was presented to me was total different The owner of the business was so rude my family was in shock My husband and I were looking forward to a fun family holiday until ***(the owner) met us at the airportwith this crappy van and certainly unsafe to drive We had declined the van after he drove us in it for minutes and returned us to the airport
The first van broke down after about kilometers in the middle of the highway and the second van had bad tires and just like the first it hadn't been cleaned in quite a wihleDoing business and making appointments with this guy is a nightmare and he will curse and start threatening you if his own inferior way of organizing results in bad communication [redacted] is a complete [redacted] and won't even feel like an apology is in place when he walks in smirking after he has, completely unfoundedly, called you all kinds of names So I hope you read this before you find his website and otherwise be welcome to join te rest of us
For my 7 year old son first camping experience I made arrangement with to rent one of their euro vans. He describes them on his website as " more modern then the Vanagon but have the same basic camping facilities and layout as the earlier Westfalia. Unfortunatly this was not the case. When I picked up the Van to leave for my trip. [redacted] was not around and his employee presented me with a 7.5 liter jug of water and a cooler to put ice in, as the fridge and sink/water pump where non-operational.
The van itself had problem shifting from park to drive, the front passenger [redacted] would not open from the inside, and a sliding windows that would not budge in 28 Celsius heat. To make matters worse, the campsite we arrived at had no running water so I was dependent on what I was given from Westfaliarentals.com in regards to water.
I voiced my concerns to [redacted], but he was billegerent, rude, and condescending to say the least.
Upon my return to his depot, I tried again to voice my complaints about the van. He completely ignored me and being rude as he his, he told me to leave. I asked for an invoice but was told that any amount would be deducted from my credit card.
Since then I have been charged "full fair" for a RV that had 2/3 of its equipment non operational. I requested an invoice verbally and via email but no response. Still waiting.
