One of our salesmen had signed up homeowner on February 16, 2014. When signing the contract, the homeowner can ask about setting up a payment plan which includes a 1.5%...
finance charge. The homeowner had never set up one and asked us about details of the payment plan about 7 months after signing the contract. The homeowner chose to upgrade his siding to a special siding and was informed of the 5 week wait to be delivered to his home. Special upgraded siding is not stocked in many of our suppliers' warehouse, in which it is ordered and takes time to get shipped. When ordering the special upgraded siding, it comes in 2 boxes per square, unlike standard siding, which is 1 box per square. Noting the supplier should had called salesman to verify correct amount of squares before placing the order. After the job was complete, the homeowner was happy and Western States had made many attempts in collecting the remaining balance on homeowners account. Leaving voicemail after voicemail there was no communication on behalf of the homeowners part to us, Western States, the contractors hired by the homeowner. When we did receive communication from the homeowner he had told salesman that he did not receive any insurance checks in the mail yet. When the salesman called the insurance company, he was informed that the checks were released and mailed to the homeowner. When sending any of our servicemen out to complete repairs, they are to call homeowner before going to their residence to get any and all information in regards to their issues. Our serviceman had talked to homeowner before even going to the home, not knowing the consistency of the siding repair. When the service man completed the repair, he had called homeowner and he did not answer his phone. Not at any time did the service man tell the homeowner his siding was installed wrong and may needed to be replaced in sections. The only person the homeowner chose to maintain communication with was one of the secretaries in the office. In which, the secretary had to endure sexual badgering during every phone call/text message from the homeowner. The homeowner even requested that the secretary would come to his home to collect payments. At which time of the request, the secretary would ask the office manager to come with because she did feel comfortable going over to the home alone.
