I would like to take this opportunity to thank Westcare Pediatric for their timely and wonderful care they provide for my two boys who are special needs. Going to the doctor used to be a hasle in the past but since we started going to Westcare Pediatrics, the staffs are very friendly and knowledgeable and very patient with my boys. Blood draw is no longer a fight! Regular checkups have become fun activities for my boys. Thanks Westcare we will be back soon for our annual checkup????
Review: I called west care pediatrics to bring in my daughter for [redacted] symptoms in February. At that time, they asked me about my insurance. When I arrived, I paid. $50 co-pay with my insurance card. 2 months later I got a bill for $452. I called 10 times to sort it out; why am I being billed $452 for,the visit, + $5o copay? If they didn't accept my insurance. - why didn't they tell me? And why did they accept my co-pay? And how is a 12 minute office visit $502. Please advise -- west care facility is sending me to collections over the $452.I sent them a check for $50; payment in full satisfaction. Please advise.Desired Settlement: Please contact me / westcare medical as to common practices with fees and insurance. In my experience, when a medical facility accepts a co-pay; they also accept you insurance or advise you otherwise.I was not otherwise advised,We have a dispute over the fees due and need to resolve. I do not want a black mark on my credit. I do not believe I owe this amount.

Regarding patient: Patient Complaint
"Westcare Pediatrics would like to take this moment to apologize for the unfortunate situation that has occurred. Although it is the patients responsibility to check with their insurance company about medical coverage, we did tell the patient in error that we accept their plan. Again, we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and we have resolved this matter directly with our patient's Guarantor."
