Hello [redacted],
Thank you for taking the time to speak with me this afternoon. Like you...
asked I will highlight the things we spoke about:
-We have resolved the complaint after they refunded us $700.
-However after resolving the complaint the work that was done was again not correct.
-[redacted] stated “If the complaint is not removed there is no reason for them to finish the job,” that was prior to them coming to install the screen door, which made us feel threatened/pushed into resolving the complaint so that the work would be completed.
-After resolving the complaint [redacted] has emailed me multiple times to have the complaint “deleted” which after speaking with you, is not possible.
-I attempted to speak with the owner [redacted] about the issues, he only responded that he would review my email and respond at a later time.
Shortly after speaking with you today I received an email from [redacted] from [redacted] LLP, a legal representative from them. He stated that if we do not sign the settlement agreement (which we have not signed yet because the work completed still is not correct), that they will reverse the refund and charge us $5,700. We have 10 days to sign or get in touch with this person. He stated that he feels we should “bite our tongues and move on to greener pastures,” and to just settle with this. I feel by just settling that we are saying it is ok for them to do something wrong and not fix the issue.
Thanks again for taking the time to help me with this matter.
[redacted]
Mr. & Mrs. [redacted],
I sincerely apologize for the situation you've described, it is totally unacceptable. I have been in contact with two different manufacturers and I would like to send a manager out to your home to present a solution to this issue and give you complete...
satisfaction and peace of mind. We would like to offer you a completely new bay window from a different manufacturer and have it installed at a date and time that works best for both of you.
If you could please give me a call at ###-###-#### I will be happy to get the ball rolling.
Again, I apologize for the stress but I can assure you that we will make this more than right.
I look forward to hearing from you at your earliest convenience.

Revdex.com:The issue was resolved by a price reduction of $300.00. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

Hello [redacted],
In response to your complaint, I want to apologize for any
miscommunication or misunderstanding of our...
product/literature. We are a great company with a great
reputation and would never sell you a product that we don’t sale. Please know that we do not sale tub liners,
we only sale full replacement systems, where we remove your old tub or shower
and replace it with the new product.
This contract is in your name and after you contracted with
West Shore Window & Door, weeks later your friend was upset because he’s in
the remodeling business and he said that he could have done this job for you at
a cheaper rate. He became very angry and
disrespectful over the phone. I told him
that I would need authorization from you, to speak with him about the
contract. Once you authorized me to
speak with him, I informed him that the product is here in the office and that
we received special permission to reduce the price of the product if he wished
to install it on his own. I told him by
doing that, it would void the service warranty, but not the product warranty.
A date was scheduled for the two of you to come into the
office to pay for and see the product.
You then decided that you wanted to complete the install on your own. While in the office, your friend became very
angry because we would not let you out of the contract. He was very aggressive and vulgar, stating
that he had never seen a tub like this before.
I asked him if he wanted instructions on how to install the unit. He said, he can figure it out. Due to lack of time and space in your truck,
you asked if we would deliver it to your home for you. We scheduled a time and day and did so, free
of charge. At that point, the Production
Manager and I helped unload and carry the unit into your basement. Your friend was more pleasant this time, so I
decided to ask again, if he wishes to have instructions on how to install the tub
since he has never done a tub like ours before.
Fast forward to 10/29/14 when I received your Revdex.com complaint,
the first thing I noticed is that your statement reads that noticed a sticker that
reads “this is only a liner and not to be used without a tub”. I called you immediately and asked for a
picture showing such a sticker or a time and date that I could come out to see
such a sticker because I know that there is no such thing. The picture you sent later that day via email
was a picture of the company’s name, which is [redacted]. I replied to your email asking you to send
the picture that shows the above statement and if there is no such sticker, I’m
going to need you to contact the Revdex.com to let them know that you made a mistake. I never heard back from you on 10/29/14. Therefore, on 10/30/14 I called you and mentioned
to you that I never received the picture and you stated that you will have to
call the Revdex.com and tell them. I replied by
asking you tell them what and you hung up on me. I tried calling back, but there was no
answer, so I left a message asking you to please call me back and also to call
the People Claim online dispute company that we received a letter from. I also stated that this is false accusation
and defamation and you need to correct this ASAP, before we have to obtain
legal consultation about the matter.
Thank you,
Orlando C, CSM.
Good morning, We find this complaint to be unfounded and request that it be removed. The basis of the complaint seems to revolve around an issue with the licensing of our installation team. In our line of work, as licensed plumber is not required. However, when Mr. [redacted]...
requested that a licensed plumber be present during installation, we hired a Master Plumber (see invoice attached) at no charge to Mr. [redacted]. On the invoice you will find charges from the Master Plumber to West Shore for the following services: “replace well tank gauge, service well tank,” and “check copper piping.” All of these services were performed for Mr. [redacted] at no cost even though they are beyond the scope of the work that we perform AND were not requested at the time of the writing of the contract. Mr. [redacted] continues his complaint by stating that our “un licensed plumber cut through the middle of my floor joist directly under the tub rendering my 60 year old 2x10 a 1x10.” This is patently false, as we have never, and would never jeopardize the structural integrity of our customer’s home. You can see in the attached photo that the plumbing that we installed doesn’t even utilize the cut in the floor joist, so there would be no benefit to us placing a cut in the first place. The attached file also shows a photo taken by our pre-installation manager which demonstrates the poor condition of the plumbing in Mr. [redacted]’s home and notes that we use caution with the existing plumbing. Furthermore, Mr. [redacted] checked and signed off that he “reviewed overall application and installation of bathroom project” in the Bathroom Completion Certificate (attached) which states that the customer has “found the workmanship of both labor and material to be satisfactory” and signed off on the financing of the project. Before Mr. [redacted] placed a complaint with the Revdex.com, he wrote an email to our Sales Manager, Jason K[redacted], to let him know about his displeasure. Jason replied within 20 minutes asking what we could do to make it right, which was ignored. I have included a copy of that email as well. At this point, we believe Mr. [redacted] simply doesn’t want to pay for the project that he signed a contract for and is throwing multiple accusations at us in an effort to get out of the contract. We will not be refunding the total cost of the project, but are open to hearing from Mr. [redacted] about how we can make it right. A work week later a representative from wssb came out to inspect my plumbing as the salesman did not. Upon entering my basement I asked the representative a plumbing question and he did not answer and told me he was not a plumber. Shocked, I asked him if the men to replace my tub shower were plumbers, he assured me they weren't. I told my wife this information as she went to work and I began my quest to opt out of this contract.Contract states no change after 3 days . Well, nothing changed for a week, until this non plumber from this non plumbing company showed up to inspect my plumbing. 5 employees later I got a Jason K[redacted] on the phone to explain my problem . He insisted on coming to my house. We talked, the first thing I told him is that I don't want to proceed with a company that hasn't one licensed professional plumber. After much talk he promised to provide (at wssb expense) a licensed plumber to take care of my original inquiry (a pressure valve) which he did replace. The plumber answered another question or two and was finished. At that time, the hot and cold were already cut and fit with shut offs.Which was the first thing the wssb employees initiated. Feeling some kind of satisfaction I began to practice my guitar, noticing a saw saw going pretty aggressive in my basement for some time. This is when the wssb employee Corey or Cory was cutting in to my floor joist which is directly under the tub. He cut a 5 inch swath the width of my 2x10, rendering it a 1x10 as to make more room for the drain. Seems a plumber would have moved the drain an inch instead of taking it out of my 60 year old joist. The fresh cut is obvious. So now i'm nervous to take a bath in a brand new tub and i'm faced with the cost of having a structural engineer or home inspector come to my basement. I am to will this house to my son and I don't want it to fail inspection because of this wssb employee incision.Furthermore the new faucet is not tight to the tub and crooked and one of the shut off valves is positioned where you can't turn it off as it is on. Two representatives Luis Toro and another man were sent out to witness these complaints and nothing has been done as of 3/15/2016 I would like them to mark my bill as paid and take me out of their computers and files.

Hello,
To make a long story short (merchandise purchase agreement signed 4/23/- West Shore keeping my deposit)
Pro Con
Salesman shows up and says they do not do
larger windows replacements (?) had to call
the office to be told they do(I should have
stopped here)
Sales person agrees to deliver I sign the agreement in good faith
windows and Door all with removable grates (The sales person never tells me none of their
(trying to match their lineup as close as possible) windows come with removable slate)
If I was told this then, there would have been
NO order
Next:
They send me a picture of windows and door My response is OK if the grates are removable
(not the ones I ordered) together and inform me
that the windows/door grates do not match but still
look goodThey do not tell me that the window
grate are not removable here either
After several phone/emails they tell me the grates
are fixed I cancel the order
They create a new invoice to install the door onlyWhat? I cancel the order
repeatI cancel the order, ask for refund
repeatI cancel the order, ask for refund
repeatI cancel the order, ask for refund
They create another invoice to install door at A door by itself was not the agreement
cost, no profit to themI cancel the order , again
They say I have to buy the door Not what I orderedI ordered windows
Or they will keep the deposit and a door, to fit a bay that was priority
to do work on our kitchen
All in good faithI worked with my father
who had two businesses in his life and always told me to treat the customer right
i.e" the customer is always right"
It took months for me to give up my deposit for what should have taken less than a couple phone calls or emails to litigate in a satisfactory manner
Very unsatisfied customer,

We have a bonding contract with you for windows and a doorThere isn’t anywhere on that contract that reads, there is a requirement of removable external gridsIn fact, your contract actually says SDL, which is simulated divided lightsAlthough you called to cancel outside of the day rescission period, saying that you must have external grids that are removable; we allowed you out of the window portion of the contractYour door is exactly what you ordered including the external removable grids and you are bonded to that contractBecause this is a custom door and we have already incurred costs to manufacture it, we can’t just place it back on a warehouse shelf and wait for the next homeowner to come and purchase it
Normally there is a 15% fee to cancel a project out of the rescission period; I said that we would allow it, in exchange for your deposit of $You weren’t happy with that, so I went back to the board and came up with something even betterI said, because this door is exactly what you ordered and we already paid for it; we are willing to discount it down to our cost which would leave you with a balance of $due upon completionIt’s a beautiful custom door with the exact specifications you chose and we want to install it for you

Regards,
I would like to say what a great job Ryan, Jake, and Toby did in installing my windows and doors. They were polite and professional employee installers. I would highly recommend West Shore window. Thanks again for an outstanding job.
First, West Shore Window and Door delivered to me a quality product that was expertly installed. The installers, Ryan and Jake, were everything you'd want installers to be--prompt, courteous, knowledgeable, polite, respectful, patient and professional. Couldn't ask for a better experience.
If there is one knock I have against this company, it is the high-pressure sales tactics utilized by the salesperson. I made it clear to him that I was taking bids and wanted to speak with other companies. He immediately went into the "Hey, this is the best offer you're going to get for this product, and only way you'll get it is if you sign NOW!" mode. I am ashamed to say that I fell for this tactic. As good as I feel about the windows, the sales experience left me feeling bad.
But I do want to emphasize that the work and product were as promised. When I've had to call the company, the office staff was extremely courteous and eager to be of assistance. The only advice I might give anyone else is this; don't call them FIRST. Talk to other companies THEN talk to West Shore. Trust me, you'll feel better about yourself afterwards.
Review: I purchased a tub from West Shore. On my contract invoice of sell of tub and fixtures. I told them this looks like a liner not a tub. I Was told by the manager and employee this was tub. Written on invoice as "Bath-tub". That was May 27, 2014. Oct 24, 2014 I took the so called tub out of its packaging and on the label up underneath manufactures label, States: This is only a liner and not to be used without tub. False sell of goods. I want the money returned for the product.Desired Settlement: Take the tub liner and walls back and refund the money. I will keep fixtures that are paid for.

Review: On Friday, October 18th my fiance and I met with [redacted] from West Shore Windows and Doors at our home. We were interested in purchasing 3 new doors for our home. At the end of the presentation we were told if we signed the papers today we would receive a discount of $3,000. We asked if we could have until Monday to make our decision, however we were told we had to decide immediately that day or it would not be available to me. Because they were offering 0% interest we reluctantly agreed.
Over the next couple days we talked about how we regretted our decision of purchasing the doors and decided to cancel our order. I called [redacted] on Wednesday, October 23, 2013 to inform him that I wanted to cancel my order (order# [redacted]) and that I would like my deposit check for $1,000 returned to us. He would not allow me to cancel. He said we had 4 business days to cancel and we were now on the 5th day. He never mentioned anything regarding a timeframe of 4 days to cancel when we met with him that evening. He said the agreement was signed the evening of October 18, 2013 and we were now passed the 4 business days. He informed me that the day we signed the paperwork counted as day 1 and that Saturday and Sunday also counted as days. He said that the doors had already be started and there was nothing that we could do. I called him repeatedly over the next couple days asking to speak with his manager to resolve this issue, however I received no response back from a manager.
On October 30, 2013 I faxed a letter to the company stating the fax transmission shall be considered their official notification of my intent to cancel. I then received a phone call from the manager later that afternoon. He again reiterated to me everything that [redacted] had told me about being past our 4 days and there is nothing we can do.Desired Settlement: I am asking for a refund of my deposit money of $1,000 and the cancellation of our contract for the doors with the remaining amount being owed of $9,886.00. We do not want to purchase the doors.

Hello **. [redacted],
Review: We had chosen to use this company to install new french doors that were suppose to include screen doors. The salesman spent 5+ hours in our home discussing the product and we chose the door we did because of the screen. On the day of installation the company showed up with the door but no screen. After speaking with the salesman he stated he ordered the wrong door and that they would provide a storm door worth $1500 free of charge. His boss told us that it would be a less than two week turn around and it is now over two weeks. When the new product does come my husband and I will again have to take off work. Why do we still have to pay full price for something that should have been included in the very beginning. Over the past month it has been a back and forth battle with this company to resolve this issue.Desired Settlement: Reduction in price

Review: I was given a quote on March 29, 2013. I signed a contract and gave 1/3 deposit for the work to be completed. I was then contacted on April 1 , 2013 to inform me that the quote was incorrect. A new salesperson had quoted the price incorrectly.Desired Settlement: The work will be done for the quoted price.

Response:
We would love to resolve this with the customer. Unfortunately, when the product rep visited the home he mis-priced the patio door, using pricing for a sliding window instead of a sliding door. We contacted the customer the next day, explained the mistake and scheduled a time to meet with her. We showed her the correct pricing and gave the option of moving forward with that pricing or allowing her to cancel. She chose to cancel.
We cannot do the project for the original mis-quoted price, but would be happy to do the work at cost. If this is acceptable, please let us know.
The email on file is not the correct email for the company. Please do not respond to [redacted], instead please use [redacted].
Thank you,

Review: I purchased vinyl siding for a small one floor 3 Bedroom Ranch house which previously had aluminum siding. Work was performed first week and second week of August 2013.
I have two issues discovered after the work was completed. My doorbells (front and back) did not work after the work was completed. The company made a service call but
could not find the problem other than saying it was old wiring behind the exterior doorbells. I had an electrician check them and a transformer (box) was needed which is installed in the
attic. The Bill was $70.00. The company made no other efforts to trouble shoot the problem.
Interior walls, bathroom, living room and bedroom show evidence of nails coming thru to interior during siding installation.
The bathroom and bedroom walls are newly painted within the year. Living room walls were already painted but need done over due to defective workmanship.
I reported this to West Shore Window and Door and a representatve visited the residence and saw two of the defects. I asked the company to come and remove the siding
and push out one of the nails that was very long. The representatives would not listen to my issue and said they knew how thick the walls were and they didn't need to see them.
The company issued me a check for $200.00 to touch up the defects. However, $200.00 would not cover a painter's work and materiel to do three walls and actually a whole room.
If one wall is changed then the other should look the same. The Custom Home Remodling Agreement I signed said in the paragraph: Contractor's promises: Contractor maintains
liability insurance covering personal injury in an amt of $50,000 and insurance covering property damage caused by the work of a home improvement contractor in an amount
not less than $50,000. This work is less than $50,000 but they are not following the statement contractor promises to perform all work in a professional manner within industry
standards, and contractor will leave the home in a broom clean condition. The walls were not clean as they were damaged.Desired Settlement: Need to have certain wall panels repainted and nails pushed out where they are protruding too far. This would involve taking a piece of some siding off to remove any defective nails.
Also, would like to be reimbursed $70.00 for electrical repairs.
The items were working before the work began.

Review: 10/17/ 2014, 5 men in green jackets were canvasing the community saying many residents called complaining about window problems. We agreed to meet the next day, Saturday, October 18, 2014,with a salesman at 2:00 p.m in our home. His name is ---- -------. We talked about, and showed him, the living room windows. Finally we agreed to buy 6 windows for the living room, contingent upon approval by the ----- ------ Home Owners Association (HOA). He assured us that would be no problem and that he would meet with the Architectural Committee Chairman to show the structure and details of the window replacement on Monday, 10/20/2014. He failed to do this. Furthermore he told us they would have the windows installed in 6 to 8 weeks. This cannot be done since they have not yet presented the windows to the Chairman, The Production Manager came to measure the windows and mentioned that the FRAMES MIGHT HAVE TO BE CHANGED, WHICH WAS NEVER MENTIONED BY THE SALESMAN AND, WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE ORIGINAL PRICE. We made $1000 credit card down payment using [redacted]. In hindsight, the salesman filled out forms for a [redacted] account, unknown to us. We thought he was working on the down payment.. About 11/1/2014 we received two [redacted] cards in the mail and nearly destroyed them, thinking someone was trying to get us to use more credit cards. We called [redacted] and had the cards cancelled. Then we were told that there was a 'HOLD' on the [redacted] account, which they cannot remove. UNBELIEVABLE! What all does this mean?
In view of all the discrepancies and uncertainties we have lost faith in the company and want our financial standing restored to what it was prior to 10/18/2014.Desired Settlement: COMPLETELY CANCEL THE PROJECT. REFUND OUR DOWN PAYMENT.. REMOVE THE 'HOLD' ON THE [redacted] ACCOUNT. AND MAKE SURE OUR CREDIT SCORE IS NOT DAMAGED.
