Review: I was charged for the change of 4 locks and only 2 were changed, The owner promised a credit several weeks ago which still has not been processed after multiple phone inquiries and requests.Desired Settlement: want my refund.

To whom it may concern:

We performed locksmith services at [redacted], on September 30th, 2013. A customer named [redacted] called and scheduled an appointment for our technician to change the locks on the property. When the technician arrived, he was instructed by [redacted] to remove four locks, rekey them to a new key, and then reinstall: two on the front door, one on the vestibule door, and one on the basement door. After the locks had been removed and rekeyed, [redacted] changed her mind and instructed him to only rekey two of the four locks to the new key. He complied, but her request was too late and Our technician had to charge for services on all four locks since all four had been removed and reinstalled. The first was S85 and each subsequent one was $35, totaling $190.

Our technicians do not perform services on any lock without a customer’s explicit instruction to do so in order to prevent miscomniunications of this nature. The miscommunication here appears to be between **. [redacted], who paid the invoice, and Eleanor, who oversaw the technician while he was working. Our technician followed the instructions he was given and full payment was received on site without dispute with [redacted] signing off on the services. While we understand **. [redacted]’s frustration, the cost of our services reflects the work that was performed as per Eleanor’s instructions and therefore we feel that a return for $70 is not: justifiable,
