Review: Salesman sold car knowingly something was wrong with the seat belt/airbag. Was advised tires unsafe & 1 tire only had 3 lugs (5 are required)
I purchased a vehicle on 10-21-13. The airbag/seatbelt lite continued to come on and off and beep. When I told [redacted], the salesman, of this on 10-21-13, he stated "the belt just needed to be adjusted". I questioned him about the Safty Check & he insisted YES it was done & "little things can be fixed". Per my warrenty, I dropped my car off and the airbag/seatbelt WAS BROKEN!! I believe had it been thru a safty check,, by law ,, that car would not have been allowed off the lot.
Got a flat tire within a week or so..was told tires are unsafe to be on road.In attempting to resolve this situation, It was brought to my attention that my back tire had only 3 lugs (5 are required by law). Has I not been there, I would never have known this. Bringing this matter to [redacted] attention,,no longer wanted to deal with me.
One other situation that bothers me, is that I turned my car in for repairs on a Thursday at 9am.
Milage 147,800. I got it back on Saturday at 3:15pm with the milage at 147,847 as I was present and waiting for it at the auto lot. My car was promised to me Friday by 2 different people, but when the time came, no one bothered to return any of my calls. I honestly believe someone used my car.Desired Settlement: I am afraid of what else I don't know about this car I believe [redacted] of West Lane Auto should give me an extended warrenty due to him selling an unsafe car. Had I not got a flat in less than a week.I would have not known about the missing lugs. I was told the tires are not safe. I think he should do this in good faith because anything could have happened to me while driving. Once sold, he really didn't want to hear about anything else.
