Dear Revdex.com:
sans-serif;">This is a response for the complaint ID [redacted], that you received on
7/31/2014. This is a simple case of misunderstanding. After the customer let us know that she was involved in an accident, we got ahold of the insurance companies. Her insurance company, ** Insurance, wanted to pay about $2500 minus the $500 deductible (total $2000), and the other driver's insurance, [redacted] Bureau, was going to pay about $3000. The customer is somehow under the impression that she would receive $500 from her insurance company if she went through them. The current payoff is just over $6000, so it doesn't matter which insurance company she chooses, there will still be a balance owed to West End Autos. We preferred to go through [redacted] Bureau (the other driver's insurance) simply because it is in the best interest of the customer and West End Autos.
As for the "Desired Settlement": the $500 deductible is a charge from ** Insurance, not West End Autos. Also, we will not report a repo on your credit.
Thank you for understanding, we aim to please.
