any financial gain from these fees. West Acres makes every effort to inform the customer of the rules and regulations pertaining to the gift cards at the time of purchase. A printed insert is placed with the card at purchase, and West Acres representatives also verbally inform the customer of the inactivity fees, including the fact that the 12 month time frame resets each time the card is used.
Regardless of the reality of the situation, we do not like to see one of our customers inconvenienced or unhappy. We will contact the customer directly and remedy the situation to her satisfaction.

As the recipient, we did not get the rules in any form. That is not the fault of West Acres, however it is a downfall of the system, since they usually are given away. I'm sure the rules aren't passed on to the recipient very often. I thank West Acres for being willing to remedy the situation, and restore my daughter's happiness in the matter.
