I stopped by Wendy's shortly before 5:35 pm and ordered a drink and chilli Cheese fries. There was a slight delay in getting the fries but when I opened up the container in the parking lot, the fries were cold and the cheese had not melted.I took the product back to the window and gave it to the guy in the green shirt and told him that the fries were cold.His response was that he could make me some more.No apology just to make me wait for fries that should never be cold in the first place,I would have thought that it was incumbent upon the staff to dispose of products that had been made for too long instead of selling them to the public. Given that there is cheese sprinkled on to these chips it is not good food policy.Product_Or_Service: Chilli Cheese FriesOrder_Number: [redacted]Desired SettlementI would like this restaurant not to sell cold food to customers and require them to keep a log of food which is disposed of after a maximum period of time, signed by the operative and countersigned by the manager on duty and open for inspection by anyone upon request.Business Response I apologize the customer received cold fries at one of our restaurants. I will be glad to get this out to the District Manager and request that they contact the customer. They will check to see who was working and what was happening when the customer was there so will not happen again.
