David W of Wells Home Improvement was suppose to remodel a bathroom and master bedroom closet. Mr. W provided detail work description of what he was going to do and the price on 3/14/19. Work description was installing subflooring with new insulation under subfloor in bathroom, laundry room and closet, tiling the bathroom floor, floor covering in closet and laundry room, building shower and tub frame, tiling shower, installing tub, installing shower pan, installing bathroom vanities, install toilets and painting walls. I the customer supplied the shower pan, vanities, tub, tile, paint, and subfloor. Mr. W decided to use a different subfloor so purchased that. Total price was $6800 and deposit was required. I paid Mr. W $3000 via checks for deposit. Mr. W and his employees started on Friday, 3/29/19. They installed the subflooring in all the rooms mentioned above. I came into the home on Saturday to inspect and notice no insulation was place under the subfloor. Part of the shower frame the installed was not centered correctly. I had provided the blueprint with measurements for the remodel. I called several times and sent messages and days later Mr. W answered my call. Workers had not been to the home in days and Mr. W told us a date when they would come again and no one came. They retuned again on 4/23/19 and worked for a few hours. All the other times only one worker came to the home and minimal progress was made. I requested part of my deposit back and to part ways. Mr. W refused to give a refund even though his employees had not completed 90% of the work from March to June 2019. I was promised several time they will come and complete the work and they never came when promised. They left trash on my property and only cleaned up part of it on 6/7/19.Job was never completed and no refund. Customer service was horrible and workmanship even worst. Everything they did I had to redo it correctly and get other contractors to complete.
