The word grant means to give. If you receive a grant it usually refers to funds paid in whole. This program only offers discounts and no more than a 50% discount. I tried to get some free services and they would only offer me discounts. *** $50 on a consultation that they won't refund me. *** Please look into this asap. ***
Product_Or_Service: Cosmetic dentistry
Other (requires explanation) Refund of my $50 from the dentist office *** and for them to change their advertising, wording, and the dentist office's verbal explanations too.
Hello - Thank you for the opportunity to respond.
Our grants are not full payments and we would never suggest that they are. When you spoke to our representative at the time you booked your assessment, we carefully advised you that the grant would not cover the whole cost of the treatment plan. Rather, the grant is a co-payment and is for the purpose of making the treatment cost more affordable.
The $50 you paid was to the dental office and not us, so we are unable to repay you as we did not receive those funds. *** you paid for x-rays
In any event, you are still welcome to avail yourself of the grant as we would be happy to help you achieve your goal of a healthy smile.
Best regards

Besides requesting the refund, my other complaint is in your advertising. A Grant typically means free money.....NOT A DISCOUNT. You guys only offer a discount, not a grant.
Hello - You are characterizing the Grant as a discount just because we are not paying it to you personally and instead we are paying it directly to the dentist who then deducts it from the cost of the treatment plan thereby reducing the overall cost of the treatment plan.
There are many different kinds of grants. This one is based on co-paying or matching a payment from the Grant recipient. (You)
Your position would be valid if the treatment plan was being inflated and the grant simply reduced the cost of the treatment plan to be comparable to general market rates, but that is not the case.
There is a genuine and true reduction in the cost of the treatment plan after the Grant is applied.
Are you suggesting that the Grant should be paid directly to you instead of the dentist
