WED: Wedding Events Downtown

We signed contracts on 1/5/2016 to participate in two Wedding Events Downtown (WED) events: The WED Tour - Raleigh to be held on 2/21/2016 and The WED Tour - Charleston to be held on 2/28/2016. The cost for participating in both shows were $600 each. On 2/1/16, after some prodding, WED founder, [redacted], confirmed that the Charleston event was being postponed to later in the summer - July 24. This date conflicted with other commitments our Charleston office had and we would not be able to participate. I emailed [redacted] on 2/1/16 requesting a refund of our $600 registration fee to which she replied, "Will do!" On 2/24/16, after not receiving the refund, I reached back out to [redacted] asking about the status of the refund. She responded, "I will get this sent out!"I emailed [redacted] again on 4/25/16 and 4/27/2016 and left a voicemail for her on 4/26 no response. Our CEO has reached out to her via phone multiple times this week again, no response.Product_Or_Service: The WED Tour - CharlestonDesired SettlementWe would request that [redacted] refund our $600 registration fee for The WED Tour Charleston.Business Response My apologies, I have been out of the office May to the month of June. This was resolved with the client during my absence. The registration fee was refunded and the client cashed the check this month.
