After buying 30+ cars from various dealerships this dealership is absolute garbage, and the worst experience I ever had by far. Filled with con artists and incompetent employees. Less then 24 hours of buying a car I had to return due to a major oil leak, loud clunking sound and the running light falling out of the car. After being assured it was properly fixed I had to return 2 day later, again with the same exact problems and almost lost the running light this time in the traveling. Finally after some back and forth was allowed to switch into the same vehicle but a model year newer. Now after only 2 weeks with the new car I will be getting ready to bring it to a different dealership for service to find out why the check engine light has now come on. This dealership will not be seeing any future service or sales from me and recommend other buyers beware as I am sharing my experience and recommendation to every person I know as so they may not experience the same troubles and experience I am sure is common place with this dealership.

I bought a car from them,they were supposed to get back to me,didn't hear from them,I tried calling the general manager for 3 days,left him a voice mail each day didn't call back,4 day I tried his boss,didn't hear anything,I tried used car manger,he said he would get back to me in a hour or two never heard from him,I would not go to their dealership every !!!

I took my SUV to dealer (Webb Chevy-Oak-Lawn) mechanic for diagnostic -- just to see what is causing check engine light.... My car currently riding just fine... it was the check engine light ocasionally going and off. . While waiting I struck conversation with another customer waiting like me. She spoke about her spiritually exhausting experience with (Webb Chevy 94th Cicero). She was a *** driver like me. She told me that this was her 3rd time dealing with this same dealer mechanic . She said her car never just stop running until she allowed Webb Dealer mechanics touched her car. Now her car has more problems than before she had them "service" her car. Now she is forced to rent a car for work, and pick up family. I was hoping that she was lying to me, and they will not do the same. She was at their mercy. I asked why she did not go to another mechanic. Just as soon as I started talking to this victim/customer, as if they were listening to our conversation, the dealer salemen finally called my name with repair estimate and diagnostic codes (excessive mechanical jargon). He showed me the REPAIR RECOMMENDATION ESTIMATES list...The Repair list had trivia (outside engine) things like: oil/filters change ,brakes,stabilizer, ball joint, tire rotation & cracked washer bottle. "Unrelated -- to check engine-light" repairs. I told him not to expect me to pay for services that had nothing to do with (Check Engine Light) real reason of my visit. I asked: what will warranty cover.???... To my surprise the dealer salesmen said: warranty will only cover : Cracked washer bottle and Stabilizer.... not (Check Engine cause which was the -- evapsurge solenoid) I told him I am not paying for NON-RELATED issues... like stabilizer, ball joint and washer bottle etc. So paid for Evap-Surge Solenoid (supposed cause of engine light) based on diagnostic only.
Not more than 3 and half weeks later, from mechanical service on my car. While getting off exit of (Rt.57)express way the car started driving rough and finally stopped for the first time in traffic (only 76k miles). I tried over 3 times to "crank" the car back up it would not start back up. This car never stopped on me I have only 76k miles. I put on the hazzard lights so cars will not hit me from rear, but it was sunny that day so I stood outside with cell phone trying to call Webb Chevy for a tow truck, they will not send one , they said it was MY responsibility. I finally got help and took it back to them to fix it.
After having me wait again for hours, they finally came to me and said the new problem (CAM SHAFT p011,po366, po14, & po16-- codes) now have nothing to do with previous mechanical service performed by Webb Chevy mechanics, and they will not service it for free.
Now the CamShaft timing chain a ($1950 job for SUV) after they supposely performed diagnostics & repaired part : Evap Surge Solenoid part ($50 part $205= total $255) labor, 3 weeks ago.
Forewarning to: all ***/*** 1099 contractors, - *** drivers, taxi,van drivers who need "running" vehicles.
Beware of insider INDUSTRY PREDATORS who can make you a "target" for "Predatory Ransom" tactics on your car/van SUV/truck...your livelyhood... just like: cyber attackers holding your computer ransom .. for a fee!!!
Educate yourself and other consumers about "auto -industry-ransom" tactics...to make you spend more money than you have to...

I bought an SUV from this company and it was the worst decision I have ever done. The price that we agreed on is not the price they put on the paperwork. Then I was charged for accessories after they told me that they were free. Do not purchase from this business you will regret it..
