W.C. Russell Moccasin

Review: W. C. [redacted] Moccasin Co. promotes itself as making custom-made shoes. On 17 October 2013 I placed an order for a pair of A71-SV custom-made shoes which were pre-paid by MasterCard on 18 October 2014 in the amount of 410.75. This order was supposed to be shipped “on or about 30 Jan 2014.” (I have receipts to verify this charge on my credit card.)

Since that time I have made several telephone conversations querying where my order was and trying to deal with whatever the problems were in order to complete this order. These problems included personnel unavailable due to trade show schedules, difficultly regarding my shoe size, etc. On 25 February 2014 [redacted] received a pair of orthotics which I sent to assist in this task. (Verified by delivery confirmation.) On 8 May 2014 I spoke with [redacted] and for reasons best known to [redacted], making these shoes still presented a problem.

It is now eight (8) months beyond the date that this order was supposed to be delivered and almost ten (10) months since the order was placed.

Having had no communication from [redacted] not initiated by myself, on 1 July 2014 I sent a letter via certified mail-return receipt (delivery confirmed on 7 July 2014, signed by [redacted]) giving notice that I was cancelling my order and requesting a full and immediate refund of the $410.75 paid in October 2013. As of today (11 Aug 2014) no communication from [redacted] or refund has been received.Desired Settlement: Refund my $410.75.

Review: I ordered a pair of custom boots 14 months ago. The boots were to be made based on a outline of my foot and other fitment information. When the boots finally arrived they were so mismatched to my feet one did not even have to try them on to see they would not fit. The boots were returned along with fitment templates from another boot company. The same boots were sent back to me... they still didn't fit of course. They then lost several of the templates. I was told they were ordering new shoe lasts 6 months go to correct the issue. They have now had my money (450.00) for 14 months and I still don't have boots that are even close to fitting and I have had no further communication from the company.Desired Settlement: I would either like my money back or I would like boots that at least reasonably fit. I currently have the boots that do not foot in their original box as they told me to hand on to them until boots that fit were ready.

We are still working with the customer to obtain a good fit. He is in the process of emailing pictures of trial shoe we sent for trial purposes.
