Wayzata Creative Furniture Repair & Refinishing

I brought an ottoman to the company for repair. When I met with the owner I asked if he could provide an estimate for the cost of the repair. He said he could not until he opened up the bottom of the ottoman to see what was needed. He did not call with an estimate or to ask to proceed with work. He completed the repair and called with a repair bill of $630.00. The repair cost is greater than the value of the ottoman when we bought it new. I offered to split the cost but have received no response. He made a comment that it was my fault for wanting the ottoman repaired.
