Review: I rented a storage unit from ExtraSpace storage located at [redacted] Wayne Ave.,[redacted].,PA [redacted] and paid the money due upfront with agreement to pay monthly. I was never told partial payment was not allowed, nor was I made aware of the many hidden fees they apply if payment is late. I was hospitalized shortly after my first month and had my relatives notify the facility. My family tried to make a partial payment for me due to not knowing how long I would be in the hospital, but the facility wouldn't accept it. Once I was released, I called several times to get my balance and explained why it was late. I was told I could speak with a manager to waive the fees, but everytime I called, no manager was available. They locked storage unit where I couldn't gain access and by the time I was ready to pay in full, the amount increased an additional $120.00. Again, I attempted to speak with a manager but to no avail.Desired Settlement: I just want the fees waived because I do agree that monies are due to them, but not the extremely high fees they applied.
