Waxy's Bobcat Inc.(Regina)

Was contracted to provide mixed topsoil & manure but delivered mix of topsoil, sand & manure instead. On May 29 I paid Waxy's $219.45 for the delivery of 4 yards of 50/50 mix of topsoil & manure. Waxy's delivered 4 yards of topsoil which is a mix of topsoil, SAND, and manure. At time of purchase no mention was made of the presence of sand in the mix. If sand is mixed into Regina gumbo it will turn very hard. I complained to Waxy's [redacted] I'm left with the situation of having to purchase 2 or 3 yards of manure in the fall to try & lighten up the soil that they sold us. [redacted] Desired SettlementI would like a 50% refund to offset the cost of manure which I will have to purchase to lighten up the mixture that Waxy's sold me. Business Response We told the customer that all screened manure mixed topsoil will vary according to type of soil the manure gets mixed with. Some soil is heavy while other soils are sandier, but they all get mixed with well-aged manure. We just recommended that next time he is looking for something, very specific, that he should look at the product before purchasing.
