Review: I called several companies to schedule same day carpet cleaning (on a Saturday) as I had stains in my carpet and urgently did not want them to set. This company was the first to respond saying they schedule an appointment at 2:30 that afternoon. Relying on that assertion, I turned away the other companies who responded. At 2:00 I received a call saying he would not be able to make it until closer to 6pm. I had stains in my carpet that I did not want to set which was the entire reason I wanted a company that would come that day. Because he gave such late notice to cancel our appointment time it was too late for me to get anyone else in so I agreed for him to come Monday night at 6:30. Monday at 6:40pm I called and texted because I had not heard from him. He called back at 6:45 saying his machine had "just broken" and he would not be able to come. I expressed dissatisfaction and frustration because of his unprofessional behavior and the fact that I would have gone with any other company had he called on Saturday in a timely fashion. I told him his failure to maintain an appointment was a breach to our agreement and was unacceptable. He began yelling at me that my stains somehow "breached" our agreement and that the two evened out. He then "informed" me that the stains were not covered by the deal I had purchased and there would be extra fees associated. I found it especially odd that he already knew I would have to pay extra as he had still not been to my house or seen my carpet.

I believe he accepted the appointment so that I would not find an alternative and strung me along in order to put me in a desperate situation where I would pay him additional fees/costs. His rude and demeaning manner on the phone was unacceptable.Desired Settlement: He conveniently avoids being on services like YELP where he might be reviewed so I imagine he does this to other consumers. I would like to warn other people before they rely on his dishonest assertions that he will be there and provide a service.
