Review: My wife and I went to look at a property and put down a deposit. The deposit was accepted and my wife and I were excited. We went by to show my in-law's the apartment. My father in-law pushed opened the front door (locked but didn't shut all the way). I noted this to the real estate agent and requested to have our deposit returned. Their response was " your safety concern is absolutely ridiculous. The building is completely safe". I feel as though returning my deposit would be the ethical way of handling this situation, instead when I called I was hung up on. Not the way I would handle business!Desired Settlement: I would like my deposit back or anything in good faith, it would be helpful for my wife and I to find our next place.
