Review: I paid The Tax Gals, Inc.to prepare an Offer In Compromise for the IRS on my behalf. [redacted] was unavailable most of the time, had to be given my correct address or name or additional information I had previously provided to her and her staff, refused to contact me via telephone, and rarely responded to email messages I'd sent. I contacted her and/or her staff requesting updates on the status of my OIC and was told the process took time. After two and a half years, she sent me an email notifying my that my OIC had been rejected. She gave me no documentation of this rejection by the IRS. No documentation was given to me regarding my case from The Tax Gals, Inc. I requested an official letter from her detailing her closing my case and she refused to answer my email and I received no other correspondence or communication. I recently discovered I had 30 days from the date of the rejection of the OIC from the IRS in which to appeal their decision. I was not notified of this opportunity. I spent a great deal of money, time, and anxiety on this and have nothing to show for it and I would never recommend this business to anyone.Desired Settlement: I would like a monetary refund and any documentation this business has regarding my Offer In Compromise.
