Billed for service that we did not use all year.
We received a bill for yard waste pick up in January, but did not pay it due to not going to use this service. Our previous trash company (did not know that they had been bought by Meridian until the bill came) would not need tobe contacted if you weren't doing pick up, you just did not pay for the yard waste if not using it. Never got another bill until the beginning of October, bill dated 9/30/19. I called right away to let them know we did not use the service and should not have to pay for something we did not use. I never received a call back. I called again about the bill on 11/14/19, and was called back on 11/15/19. They say that we still have to pay over $100 for a service we have not used and the service will end in December anyway. The bill was for $130, and they can give us a $29 credit.
