We completed the bathroom remodel/repairs 9/9/and received the final payment from the client stating all services were complete and in satisfactory condition. Upon a complaint email received 9/19/at 7:p.mstating that there is now damage to the new shower pan, asking if this is a
warranty issue. 9/20/We then sent a representative from our company (the last person to leave the property 9/9/and walk through with the customer) to examine the damage, take photos and report back. After discussion with the representative and Jim F* (Company owner) is was determined that the crack appeared to be caused when the customer's removable shower head/wand was dropped causing this damage, if this was damaged during installation this would have definitely be noticed before days time. We then sent an email response stating this is not a warranty/installation issue. This appears to be accident/neglect that would not be a manufacturer's warranty issue nor an installation issue. I did e-mail a photo copy of the purchase receipt as well as a link to the manufacture so that the homeowner had the ability to try to pursue this route if desired. I have not heard anything since then including that there is now an issue with the door frame. This notification is the first I am hearing of this. I have attached the photos that were taken by our company of the damage. Please let me know if anything further is needed on our end to dismiss this complaint.Jim F* 317-500-

The owner of the company has never talked to us directly or come to see the damage. Nothing was dropped on the unit to cause a problem. We have already had a different shower unit installed since we did not want to go weeks with no shower facility in the house. The people who replaced the unit said it was a defect in the unit and the shower door was not installed correctly. The owner of the company purchased the unit. He should take care of dealing with the shower unit. Any money that would be reimbursed would go to the person who purchased the unit. When ever there has ever been a problem with something purchased by a contractor the contractor took care of the problem.
