I've been using Dr B for a few years and have been very happy with the thoroughness of the exams. My insurance covers one pair of eyeglasses yearly, so I will do that. I also ask Dr B to give me a written prescription so I can get my other pair (reading or driving) at Walmart or BJs. Most, if not all, private ophthalmology offices have very high prices, so I wasn't taken by surprise.

Don't go there -- They will rip you off! The doctor is professional and the exam went fine, and I was happy with them until they told me the price -- both my bifocals and prescription sunglasses were 4X what I paid at comparable businesses So then I ordered my contacts from *** and Washingtonville eye associates put a limit of one box per eye that I could order so that I would have to order from them! I will never go there again and wouldn't recommend them to anyone unless you feel like getting a hassle and being charged 4X more than other local opticians
