Review: We contracted with [redacted] and [redacted] of Washingtonian Homes, LLC to remodel our kitchen. Despite being paid IN FULL by us, [redacted] failed to complete the remodeling project. Specifically:*The granite countertop on the bar in our kitchen was misinstalled (it was incorrectly measured and is too short for the bar). [redacted] have admitted the granite is not correctly cut or installed, but have refused to install an appropriately measured/cut piece.*The pantry cabinets were not installed correctly, and we were require to pay $600 to another contractor to install them correctly.*They did not install cabinet base trim throughout the kitchen. We have paid these contractors in full, and have received REPEATED assurances from them that they would correct the above-referenced mistakes (we also have several e-mails from [redacted] in which he admits that he failed to hold up his end of the bargain), but they have failed to do so. I believe the LLC is a sham front for these two individuals, and ask that they be personally investigated as well. They're perpetuating fraud and have breached their contract with us.It's also worth noting that when they started the project in January 2014, they told us they would complete the project in "two weeks". It is now mid-June 2014, and they've failed to complete the project.Desired Settlement: We want them to complete the cabinet trim and install a correctly measured and cut granite counter top. We would be willing to waive collection of the $600 we paid to the other contractor if [redacted] would complete the cabinet trim and install an appropriately measured/cut granite counter top.
