Washington Canopies Incorporated

Review: As management agent for the [redacted], I helped arrange a proposal for 3 new canopies of the building entrances. Washington Canopies, Inc submitted a proposal April 22, 2013 that was accepted by the Coop on May 29, 2013. A 50% deposit of $3,145 was required and paid with check # [redacted]. No work was performed or scheduled and the contractor failed to respond to various inquires by phone and email. On August 8, the Cooperative terminated the agreement and asked for refund of the deposit. The contactor, [redacted] of Washington Canopies has not responded to the termination notice or refunded the deposit.Desired Settlement: We would like to obtain the requested refund of the deposit payment since no work was done.
