Warrenton Highline

Review: Warrenton Highline advertised an [redacted] on aut[redacted]. It was listed as a 4 wheel drive vehicle. Having a two hour and 45 minute drive to reach Warrenton from my home I called ahead and spoke with two separate representives, [redacted] (the sales associate I was dealing with, and whom I believe to be innocent in this situation), and the [redacted] (whom I know deliberately lied to me). I asked them each if there were any mechanical issues I should know about before I took this long trip, the answer was no it was a working vehicle in great shape. This vehicle was being sold 'As Is' so I took precautions during the test drive. Just before we left I asked [redacted] if the four wheel drive worked. He said he'd be happy to check and went to talk to [redacted], when he came back he said, "He said he doesn't know but he doesn't think so." So [redacted] knew, or at least suspected, the 4 wheel drive didn't work, and misled me. It is my belief he hoped I would buy the vehicle 'As Is' without discovering the issue with the four wheel drive, and by the time I discovered the issue it would be too late. I also discovered during my inspection that the spare tire was flat (so flat the tire was loose from the rim) and the front of the frame was very rusted. When I confronted [redacted] he never once apologized, he merely said, "I understand," and offered to send it to a garage to see if the issue could be repaired. I waited for over an hour, but had to get back on the road since I had such a long trip home.Desired Settlement: I merely want the issue noted. I'm still very 'salty' about the whole situation. I noticed that the business cited itself as a Revdex.com business and thought that you should be made aware of their conduct.
