Review: I hired Warner's Moving for a job to be done on July 17th. The morning of, I was asked to place a $75.00 deposit on my credit card, which I complied with. On the night of the move, I was charged $305.00 for the move, which included three hours of labor at $85/per and a $50 truck fee. At that point, [redacted] requested I pay the total in cash, and he would release the $75.00 hold on my credit card, to which I agreed. On July 23rd, I noticed the charge of $77.81 (deposit plus tax) was still showing on my credit card, so I contacted [redacted] and asked him to kindly refund. On July 24th, he responded that it was an error on his part and he would refund right away, and that it should be reflected in my account within 3-5 business days. On July 31st, as the refund had still not been applied, I asked [redacted] to provide me with a transaction number so that I could follow up with my bank, and he promised to send it to me later that evening. At that point, [redacted] stopped responding to any of my attempts to contact him, both via e-mail and text, and the refund still has yet to be applied. Please note that I have several texts and emails which back up my claim.Desired Settlement: I would like the $77.81 ($75.00 deposit plus tax) refunded to my credit card and to be provided with a transaction number for my records or to be issued a check for the amount and have it sent to me ASAP.
