Ward Brothers Carpet Care

Another bad experience with Ward Brothers. I am a landlord in Provo, Ut. Over the years I have had some tenants use this company unfortunately. This time August 23rd 2018 they did it again. What did they do? Historically its just been a problem of bad carpet cleaning which means they look like they may have been cleaned however on closer inspection find out they were not cleaned at all. I own a Hoover home model carpet cleaner and previously have used it because I suspected a problem and have found the water extracted from the carpets was very black which means the dirt was likely spread out but not extracted, consistent with previous experience with this company. To make matters worse this time there was a smell left behind after the carpets had dried completely that smells like cats. Note: No animals of any kind were and have been allowed in the apartment ever. So after several days the new tenant arrives thinking like me everything was ready to move in and discover the cat smell, the kind of smell you just cannot move your stuff in with. I have had to spend a significant about of money and time trying to mitigate this problem and I feel really bad my new tenants have had to deal with this issue. I suspect that fluids from a previous job were there were in fact a cat or cats living in an apartment were used in this apartment which is the smell and the rest is business as usual.
