Walther Concrete

Signed a contract with *** in September 2019 for concrete flatwork (carport and sidewalk) to be performed and paid $2,624.00 up-front (half). All that has been done as of March 2020 is the digging out of the site. He removed a sidewalk as we discussed, but left the large chunks of concrete in the way causing the carport contractor a delay of two weeks in starting their part of the job. Since September, he has given us multiple excuses including losing his phone, computer down, family member in hospice, family member passing away and finally a divorce. Last contact was December 30, 2019 and since then he is not answering our texts or phone calls leaving us with nothing but a large mud puddle. We made it clear to him that the reason we needed the carport pad and sidewalk was to accommodate our elderly Father (Korean and Vietnam veteran by the way) so he has really put us in a bind. We finally had to give in and have another concrete contractor do the work for us for a higher price, plus we are out the $2,624.00 that we paid him for nothing.
