Walmart Pharmacy

I was one day out of the hospital after major cancer surgery...radical groin dissection with a muscle flap over...squamous cell carcinoma lingual lymph node recurring stage IIIstaples and two drainage sitesI was unable to get to Walmart for pain meds so I sent a friendI was contacted by my friend saying that there would not be a problem so he waited...and waited...and waited...then 'floating pharmacist' (J) told him my insurance company denied my claim when they tried to get an overide and they would NOT be able to fill it...my friend contacted me to explainI call BC&BS to ask why...their response was "no one from Walmart has contacted them and my meds would be covered so I got out if bed drained my drains and set out for Walmart to see why all the lies...when I got to the store I could barely stand...I stopped by the service desk and asked for management's assistantance...I informed the acting manager as to the situation and we walked to the pharmacy...the acting manager entered the store pharmacy and begin to talk with J...J started raising his hands in the air so I walked up to the consult window and just said "Go ahead J tell him how you lied to me about contacting BC&BS"...this guy turned into a screaming queen spouting "someone call security, someone call the police this man is being belligerent" screaming like a little girl because he got caught in a lie! So I went elsewhere for my pharmacy needs and my persciption was filled in five minutes...no issues...no overrides...no drama!! I contacted H the manager of Walmart pharmacy when she returned from her time off only to be met with lots of excuses and trying to cover J's butt which then would of course cover hers...SO...IF ANY ONE IN GENEVA AL WANTS A STAR PHARMACY...TRAVEL JUST DOWN THE ROAD A BIT TO [redacted] ...NOW TGAT THESE FOLKS ARE PROFESSIONAL KIND COURTEOUS COMPATIONATE AND FAST!! WALMART MAY BE SO MUCH TO MANY PEOPLE BUT THEIR LACK OF CUSTOMER CARE AND COMPASION ARE VOID UNLIKE SMALL TOWN PHARMACIES THAT KNOW TGE IMPORTANCE OF GOIBG THE EXTRA STEP STILL HOLD TRUE
