Walk N Roll daycare knowingly overcharged us for $1,600 over 16 months. After we found out and confronted them, Walk N Roll admitted fault and confirmed that they had over-charged us. However, they refused to refund on a timely basis and created an unfriend environment for us and our child, forcing us to seek other childcare.
We rolled our child, "A", at Walk N Roll daycare on September of 2017 when "A" was 1 yr 3 month old (DOB June 2016). Per agreement signed and Walk N Roll handbook, full-time fee per child would decrease by $100 once the child turns 2; children under 2 is $100 more expensive.
On July of 2018, after "A" had turned 2 year old, we unknowingly continued to pay the same fee for child under 2 yr. Walk N Roll continued to receive the payments until we discovered the monthly overpayments in Oct 5th of 2019. We brought up the overpayment issue to Walk N Roll, operator of Walk N Roll, Lisa B, alleged that they did not noticed the overpayment over the past 16 months and admitted fault. B, thru text, agreed that we were owed $1,600 due to the $100/month over payment from July 2018 to October 2019 (16 months).
However, B refused to refund the payment nor allowed us to apply the credit (overpayment) to future months on a timely basis. In the following week, Walk N Roll had became increasingly unfriendly toward us during child drop-off and pick-up. They had also shown displeasure toward our child when we were there to pick up our child. We cannot fathom what kind of unhealthy environment Walk N Roll had became for our child when we are not present.
As the result, we decided to leave Walk N Roll and seek other childcare facility. Now that we had left Walk N Roll, we are asking owner and operator of Walk N Roll, Barbara D and Lisa B, to refund the $1,600 overpayments that had accrued from July 2018 to Oct 2019.
