Business response Translated: I hope you are doing wellIn regards to the letter I received, I would like to give an explanationWe charged the customer an addtional $because her reservation was made for March 28, 2015, which means the price per night should have been $75, but the employee accidentally charged her the winter price which is $per night.I explained it to the customer and she accepted, so I'm not sure why she's filing a complaint because I thoroughly explained it to her and she left happy
Revdex.com: I have reviewed the offer and/or response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I made the reservation in March FOR October - it is not my fault your employee didnt do what she was supposed to Additionally the people in both of the rooms beside the one we stayed in we ALSO charged the extra $upon arrival What you explained was you didnt realize it was a festival weekend when we reserved and that you could "do whatever you wanted because you are the manager"I most certainly did not leave happy! I left because I had no choice but to pay your extra fee due to all other rooms in the area having been bookedI left without causing a scene because you had other customers getting ready to walk in the front door I think it is pretty crappy to have a reservation taken MONTHS in advance - a booked solid hotel even - and then at the last minute claim it was an error Where I work the compnay takes the hit of the error We will no longer look to your establishment for our needs for future events We will pay hundreds more to stay at a hotel that honors its pricing I would like the $back - but I can see this will not be happening The only resolution will be to share my experience with other travelers so they are not tricked by this business Regards, [redacted]

Review: I made a reservation for Oct 9-11, 2015 on March 31, 2015 and was quoted a price and paid in full. At that time the total came to $143.00. I called 9 times between April and October to confirm that reservation and each time was told I had one.
Upon check in to the hotel on October 9, I was told that at some time between March 31 and October 9 the price had gone up and we owed an additional $22! They knew we were stuck had to pay it because this was a festival weekend and all other hotels even remotely in the area were booked. I said to the manager "you cant do that!" and she said "of course I can it is my hotel".
I think I should be refunded the $22 as it was not the agreed upon price upon booking in March of this year. If next years price is $22 higher, that is one thing, but to gouge that way when we have no other alternative is unfair.Desired Settlement: I would like to be refunded the $22 that we were charged unjustly.
