We had a list of repairs that were needed on our home to get it ready to sell in a timely manner. They were aware that we wanted the work done quickly so the house could be listed for sale. Wake Maintenance started out strong. Then they didn't do ANY work or contact us for over a month. They didn't return phone calls & when they did, they told us lies &/or didn't follow through. They told us at one point that they had more important work to finish on other accounts & would get to our house when they had time. We made all payments to them when they requested payment (several thousand dollars), against our better judgement, before work was completed. Now several weeks later we received an invoice for balance due on items that either 1) were never repaired or 2) were started & not completed. I requested an itemized statement of what had been repaired, the date it was completed & the charges associated with the repair so that I could calculate the true balance owed. so far they have not provided. Since that time, we made many of the repairs ourselves since they never followed through to complete the work & we need our house sold.Their professionalism & customer service were horrible & waiting NINE weeks for completion is ridiculous! I want to alert others so they don't waste their time & money with this company.Product_Or_Service: exterior property repair/maintenanceDesired SettlementWe still want that itemized statement of work performed, date completed & amount for each, since they advertise 'a la cart' repairs. The work was not completed, so why would we owe for things not done? I want a copy of the itemized bill so that we can pay them the balance IF ANY IS OWED! We don't believe there is a balance due. We completed much of the unfinished work ourselves due to necessity, so they can't finish work we've already done to make it right. I want credit for work not done.
