Vitelity Communications

On 6/24/2017, Vitelity's system was hacked using old credentials they had originally supplied to us back in 2008 when we signed up for their service. Traffic that did not originate from us, and we had no knowledge of, was charged to our account, totaling almost $800 worth of calls that our system did not make. Since Vitelity's system was hacked using OUR old credentials, though, they decided to charge that amount to us and locked our account out pending payment. Their own service personnel admit that the calls did not come from us, but they want to charge us for them anyway.

Our service has now been down SINCE then, and they refuse to reactivate any of our services until we pay them money we do not owe them. All attempts to get them to reactivate our service have been met with denial, and any attempt to escalate this has been ignored. We have critical business services that are in serious danger of costing us thousands of dollars in contracts if we do not get our service restored, and Vitelity seems only to want to punish us for their own poor system security.
