Vital Chek

I sent an application to request a birth certificate for my son to Vital Record Mail Services ATTN: Detroit Vital Statistics P.O. Box 222130 El Paso, TX 79912 along with a check for $28.50. $22.00 was the fee for the certified copy and $6.50 for their processing fee and I checked the box for regular mail delivery was no charge. This all took place on 5/29/2018 and it is now 7/11/2018 and I still do no have my son's birth certificate which is needed so that I can make a copy and give it his father to place him on his medical insurance which is vital because my son has SVT. I've called their office more than five times. I had to wait to speak to a rep each time for at-least 30 minutes and when I finally do get connected to a representative they are very rude and will not take to time to listen to the reason that I'm calling, all that they would say is we don't handle mail in request and disconnect the call. There was only one person willing to listen and help and her name was ***, she found my application quickly and saw my payment however she is still trying to see why my order was not processed. All that I want is what I paid for my check was cashed by them June 11, 2018 and yet in still I don't have my sons birth certificate.
